Classic Bananas Foster
- 6 Tbsp. I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!® Spread
- 3 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
- 4 medium ripe bananas, sliced diagonally
- 2 Tbsp. dark rum [or brandy] (optional)
- Breyers® Natural Vanilla Ice Cream
- Bring I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!® Spread, brown sugar and bananas to a boil in large skillet. Cook 2 minutes, stirring gently. Carefully add rum to center of pan and cook 3 minutes. Serve hot banana mixture over scoops of Ice Cream and top, if desired, with sweetened whipped cream.
- NOTE: Recipe can be halved. TIP: For homemade sweetened whipped cream, with electric mixer, beat 1 cup (1/2 pt.) whipping or heavy cream with 1 tablespoon firmly packed dark brown sugar just until stiff peaks form.
