Creamy Mushroom Sauce

  • 2 Tbsp. I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!® Spread
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. dry sherry or beef broth
  • 1/2 cup Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth


  1. Melt Spread in 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat and cook mushrooms, onion and thyme, stirring occasionally, until mushrooms are tender, about 6 minutes. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds. Stir in sherry and cook 1 minute. Stir in Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise and broth with wire whisk until smooth. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until sauce is slightly thickened, about 5 minutes. Serve, if desired, over sliced roasted turkey or chicken.
