Oven-Roasted Herbed Chicken

Ingredients

  • I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!® Spray made with Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh herbs (rosemary, sage and/or thyme)
  • 5 -lb. roasting chicken

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°.
  2. Generously spray* chicken with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!® Spray made with Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Rub herbs over chicken, sprinkle, if desired, with black pepper.
  3. Arrange chicken breast-side-up in 13 x 9-inch roasting pan with rack. Roast 1-1/4 hours or until meat thermometer inserted in thickest part of the thigh reaches 165°. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
