Margherita Panini Bites

  • 1 Tbsp. I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!® Spread
  • 4 slices sourdough bread or Italian bread
  • 1/4 cup shredded fontina cheese (about 1 oz.)
  • 2 slices tomato*
  • 1/8 tsp. dried oregano leaves or basil leaves, crushed
  • Pinch garlic powder


  1. Evenly spread I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!® Spread on one side of each slice of bread. Arrange 2 slices, spread-side-down, in large nonstick skillet. Top each slice with cheese, tomato, then sprinkle oregano and garlic powder. Top each sandwich with remaining slices of bread, spread-side-up. Cook, turning once, until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 10 minutes. Cut diagonally into quarters and serve warm.

*SUBSTITUTION: Use 2 Tbsp. chopped sundried tomatoes instead of fresh tomato slices
