One Pan Buttered Noodles

  • Buttered noodles: I’d like to add minced garlic, shredded carrots and peas.

  • 8 ounces (half of 16 oz bag) egg noodles

  • 2 Tbsp I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!

  • 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley

  • 1 Tsp minced garlic

  • 1/4 cup shredded carrots

  • 1/4 cup frozen peas, thawed

  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • Cook the noodles: Heat 2 quarts of water with 1 tbsp salt in a large pot on high heat until boiling. Add the egg noodles. Cook for 5-7 minutes. Set aside 1/4 cup of the pasta cooking liquid and drain the rest of the noodles.

  • Add remaining ingredients: Place the drained hot noodles back in the original pan. Add I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter, minced garlic, shredded carrots, and frozen peas and stir until the butter has melted. Stir in 1/4 cup of the pasta cooking water that was set aside. Stir in the chopped parsley. Add salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
