Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!® Light Spread
- 1 cup uncooked brown rice
- 2 cups reduced sodium chicken broth or vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh basil leaves
- 1 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
Directions
In large saucepan, melt Spread over medium-high heat. Stir in uncooked rice and cook, stirring frequently, 2 minutes or until rice is golden. Add broth and water. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered 40 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients. Let stand covered 2 minutes. Stir before serving.
