- 1/2 cup I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!® Original Spread
- 3 oz unsweetened chocolate
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
- Sliced strawberries
- Chocolate syrup
- Whipped cream
- 2 whole strawberries, for garnish
Preheat oven to 350°. Line 8-inch square baking pan with aluminum foil, then grease foil; set aside.
Microwave I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!® Spread with chocolate in large microwave-safe bowl at HIGH 1 minute or until chocolate is melted; stir until smooth. Beat in sugar, eggs and vanilla with wire whisk. Stir in flour and salt until blended. Stir in walnuts. Spread into prepared pan.
Bake 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely on wire rack. Lift brownies using foil onto cutting board. Cut about 1/3 of the brownies into 1/2-inch cubes. Wrap and freeze remaining brownies for another occasion.
To prepare parfaits, arrange single layer of brownies in bottoms of 2 parfait or large wine glasses. Top with sliced strawberries, then drizzle with chocolate syrup and top with whipped cream. Repeat layers, ending with whipped cream. Drizzle with additional chocolate syrup and garnish with whole strawberries.
